Daniela ... from Hamburg to the heath
I grew up near Hamburg and lived there until my daughter was born. In the summer of 2002 we moved to Hanstedt in the Norheide, my little one should definitely grow up in the countryside. Hiking through our beautiful heath always inspires me to come up with new ideas.
Ever since I was a little girl, I loved all kinds of handicrafts and I was absorbed in it. This went so far that - even though I was supposed to be sleeping - I kept knitting under the covers with a flashlight.
In 2017 I founded my small manufactory Ingravido D. I've been looking for a nice name for a long time. I love Spain and also the language. The material I work with is parachute cord, so it's very light, almost weightless. This is how Ingravido came about, the Spanish word for weightless. Just like a skydiver feels during his jump.
The D. just stands for me, Daniela.
